Description
This is a gateway with settles, gate piers, gates, and flanking walls located at the road frontage of the former National School, likely built around 1836. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings. The pedestrian gateway provides access through the wall of the schoolyard. On either side of the gateway, there are stone settles, each featuring a low back. The walls are topped with rubble copings and dressed granite terminal copings. The original gate is made of wrought iron and has a hooped top rail.
