Former National School. Datestone 1830 extended in the C20. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Steep asbestos slate roof with coped gable ends. Crucifix over front porch gable, octagonal granite chimneys over the other gables. Plan: Original T-shaped plan extended slightly and remodelled in the C20. Originally 2 schoolrooms in the main range and a large porch/cloak room at the middle of the front. Tudor Gothic style. Exterior: Single storey. Originally a symmetrical 2:1:2 bay west- south-west front. Right-hand bays now obscured by C20 extension. Central gable- ended porch has wide 4-centred arched doorway with hoodmould (now fitted with window). Date plaque over; 2 pointed arched 2-light mullioned windows left of the porch have Y-tracery and old small-paned casements. Interior not inspected.
