Guide post. Circa early C20. Cast iron. Round-on-plan shaft carrying 4 adjustable pointers over a moulded collar and surmounted by a moulded and conical finial. The pointers have integral coved brackets where they join their collars, canted ends and embossed inscriptons. Left-hand inscription: HELFORD PASSAGE 1½ PORT NAVAS 2¾ HELSTON 10½ Second pointer inscription: MAWNAN CHURCH 1¼ Third pointer inscription: BUDCOCK 2¼ Right-hand pointer inscription PENRYN 4½ FALMOUTH 5¼ TRURO 12¾ 12 3/4
