Description

The road bridge over the River Cober, located in Helston, was built in 1833 and widened in 1861, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed of granite ashlar and features steep elliptical arches with projecting keystones, along with a parapet string and coping. The bridge has two spans and includes a cutwater on the upstream side.
