Steps walls and bollards for road crossing, to former cattle market. Probably 1861, the date of the road widening. Dressed granite steps, balustrade walls and bollards. Wide flight of steps up at each side to road. Chamfered piers (newels) and balustrade; 3 tapered round-headed round bollards to top of each flight of steps. These steps, and the other steps and walls on this list make an important contribution to the character of this market town.
