Description
No. 2 Monument Road is a town house built in the early 19th century. It features a pebbledash exterior, likely over studwork, and has an asbestos slate roof. The house has a shared stucco chimney stack with a moulded cornice on the right side. It is designed with a double-depth plan and has two storeys, presenting a symmetrical three-window front. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sashes set within moulded wooden architraves. A large central flat-roofed porch with pilasters flanks the central doorway, which has a top-glazed door and sidelights. The interior has not been inspected.
