Description

This milestone, located 500 meters northwest of Cadson, dates from around 1764. It is made of granite and features a white painted rectangular post with a rounded head. The post has incised lettering with serifs that indicate the distances to Callington and Liskeard, specifically inscribed as C 2½ L 6. It is situated on the turnpike road leading into Callington, as established by the Turnpike Road Act of 1764.
