Description

Milestone located approximately 250 meters north of Keason, dating from around 1764. It is made of granite and features a white painted rectangular post with a rounded head. The post has incised lettering with serifs that indicates distances to Callington and Liskeard, specifically inscribed as C 3½ L 5. This milestone is situated on the turnpike road leading into Callington, established under the Turnpike Road Act of 1764.
