Description
The Methodist Church, built around 1860 with a southeast extension added in 1926, is constructed of rubblestone, rendered, and features slate hanging on the west and south sides, with shingle hanging on the north. The church has a slate roof with hipped ends and a rectangular shape, including the rear extension. The west end has a hipped gable porch added in the 20th century, which is rendered and topped with a slate roof. The entrance features an inner double panelled door with a fanlight above that has radiating glazing bars. Both the north and south elevations have two tall round-headed sash windows, each with radiating glazing bars and a fanlight above. Inside, the church has a pitch-pine panelled interior with a gallery at the west end, simple pitch-pine benches, and a rostrum. The interior has been partly inspected.
