Description

This is a barn located to the west of Ford Farmhouse, dating from around the mid-18th century. It is constructed from rubblestone and cob, featuring large granite quoins. The barn has a cement-washed exterior and a steeply sloping scantle slate roof with hipped ends. It has a rectangular plan and is a single storey in height. The walls are low, with entrances located in the center of the north front and in the west elevation to the right. The roof structure consists of collar rafter construction and is divided into five bays. This barn is included for its group value with Ford Farmhouse.
