Description

Milestone located 100 meters north of Manaton Mill, dating from around 1764. It is a painted granite rectangular post with a rounded head. The post features black painted lettering with serifs that reads "C MLS FUR 2 6". This milestone is situated on the turnpike road leading into Callington, which was established by the Act of 4 George III, chapter 48.
