Description
This is a cottage located directly to the southwest of Wagmuggle, dated 1848. It is constructed of stone rubble with slate hanging on the south elevation. The roof has scantle slate on the south slope and corrugated iron on the north slope. The gable ends feature a stone rubble stack in the west gable end. The cottage likely has a one-room plan with an entry at the gable end and is heated by the stack at the opposite gable end. It is two storeys high. The south elevation includes a 16-pane sash window with horns on the ground floor and a 4-pane sash window above. On the east gable end, which faces the road, there is a plank door on the left beneath a timber lintel, with a four-pane casement window above in the gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
