Description

Plusha Bridge is a bridge over the River Lynher, dating from the late 15th century. It was widened and had its parapet rebuilt in 1913 by Cornwall County Council. The bridge is constructed of granite rubble and features three round arches on both the upstream and downstream sides, along with two cutwaters. It measures approximately 15 metres in length and about 4 metres in width. The parapet walls are about one metre high and have concrete coping. Plusha Bridge was built to provide miners from Caradon with convenient access to their parish church in Linkinhorne.
