Description

The Garden Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 19th century, constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof featuring gabled ends. The southwest gable end has a raised coped parapet, and there are gable-end stacks with brick shafts. The building has a rectangular two-room plan with a central entrance.

The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical northeast front with three windows. These windows are two-light designs with wrought-iron casements and leaded panes. The central doorway features a plank door with a later top light and a canopy. The rear southeast side has later window openings and a glazed door. The interior has not been inspected.
