Description

58 London Road is a detached house, likely built in the early 19th century. It features local stone rubble coursed construction and a plain clay tile roof with simple gables, along with brick end chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It includes three-light leaded windows that are set under exposed timber lintels. Between the second and third bays, there is a part-glazed early 20th-century door, which is framed by a timber latticework porch topped with a lead bell-hip roof. The interior has not been seen. This house occupies an important visual position at the center of the town.
