Description

No 4 High Street is a 19th-century shop with an attached house. It is built from local stone that is squared and coursed, topped with a plain clay tile roof that has an abutment to the west and a simple gable to the east. The building has two storeys and three bays. On the upper floor, there are four-light sash windows, while the ground floor features two angled projecting shop windows set on low stone stall-risers, with a central recessed glazed door. Above the door, there is a continuous slim fascia that is finished with a lead flat roof. The interior has not been seen. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
