Description

Heathcote Farm is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of partly rendered limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a plain tile roof. The gables are stone-coped with plain kneelers, and there are stone gable end stacks featuring plain bands, although the northern stack has been partly replaced with brick. The building is two storeys high and consists of two bays. On the south side, there are two 2-light flush mullion windows with small paned casements. A 20th-century concrete block lean-to obscures the original doorcase. Above, there are two similar windows to those below, with the northern window having single pane casements.
