Description
Hand Dale Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring gritstone dressings and quoins. It has a stone slate roof with stone-coped gables and plain kneelers, as well as ashlar gable end and ridge stacks with plain bands. The farmhouse has a plain eaves band and stands two storeys high with two bays.
On the south elevation, to the west, there is a flush quoined doorcase surround that holds a 20th-century glazed door. To the east, there are two 2-light flush mullion windows with 20th-century top-hung casements. Above these, there are two similar windows.
