Description
The outbuildings to the north of Newhaven Lodge date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins, featuring a roof that is partly covered with stone slates and partly with asbestos sheets. The buildings have stone-coped gables with plain kneelers and are arranged in an L-plan over two storeys.
The west elevation has four bays, with two flush quoined doorcases to the north; one is partly blocked while the other has a stable door. To the south, there is a single light flush window and a flight of 12 steps. Beyond this, there is another similar flush doorcase and a single light window. Above, there are two quoined hayloft openings to the north, along with a flush doorcase at the top of the stairs and, further south, a 2-light flush mullion window.
The south elevation features five quoined flush doorcases and three windows, with a single light flush window above to the east. These outbuildings are included for their group value only.
