Description
Crossways is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of local stone, featuring squared rubble coursed and rendered on the north gable. The roof is plain clay tile with simple gables, and there are brick chimney stacks at each end. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows are horizontal bar casements with three lights, set in segmental arched openings that have voussoired heads with keystones. There is a 20th-century fully glazed door in the original matching doorway. A lean-to is attached to the south gable, with an outshut at the rear. The interior has not been seen.
