Description
No. 19 Old Bridge Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, currently functioning as a craft centre. It dates from the early 19th century and features stucco with slate hanging on most of the right-hand side. The building has an asbestos slate hipped roof and brick chimneys. It has a deep irregular plan with a shop at the front and a carriageway on the left. The structure is two storeys tall and has a three-window range. The middle section boasts a complete late 19th-century shop front with a five-light shop window to the left and an original door. There is a segmental-arched carriageway to the left and a four-pane fixed light on the right. Above, there are original 12-pane hornless sash windows, which also appear on the right-hand return that overlooks the River Allen. The interior has not been inspected.
