Description

Spindrift is a house dating to circa 1740, with alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of sandstone rubble, rendered to the front, and has a slate roof, hipped to the right, with a brick gable end stack to the left. The house follows a double-depth plan, with the entrance on the left and the principal room to the front right.

The building is three storeys high and has two windows. These are 4-pane sash windows. A 4-panelled and glazed door is located to the left, with pilasters and a dentil cornice supported on consoles. A pair of 20th-century doors are on the right. A modillion eaves cornice runs along the top of the building.

The interior has not been inspected, but may retain good 18th-century features.
