Description

Minnadhu is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a hipped slate roof with three rubble lateral stacks at the rear. The house has a three-room layout, with each room heated by a rear lateral stack. The staircase is boxed in at the back of the central room.

The entrance leads into a small internal porch situated between the room on the left and the central room. The building stands two stories high and has four windows, all of which are 12-pane sashes, with some featuring a plate-glass lower section. The central entrance door is half-glazed and flanked by 12-pane sash windows on either side, with an additional door at the far right. There is a moulded cornice along the eaves.

On the left side of the house, there is a canted bay window on the ground floor with leaded lights, and a 12-pane sash window on the first floor. The rear of the house is partly rendered on the left side, featuring a 6-pane window on the ground floor and a 20th-century circular window at the center of the first floor, positioned to the right of the central stack.

The interiors are mostly from the 19th century, with the central room containing a cupboard on the rear right with shaped shelves. The remainder of the interior has not been inspected.
