Description

Manor Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of roughcast sandstone rubble with dressed quoins, and has a pantiled roof with brick stacks. The two-storey, two-bay front features a part-glazed door on the right and a tripartite sash window to the left. Windows have raised surrounds. The first floor has horizontal sliding sashes, with 12 panes to the right and 18 panes to the left. The rear elevation has similar first-floor windows and a small four-pane pantry window to the left. The steeply-pitched roof has coped gables with shaped kneelers and rebuilt end chimneys.
