Description
Harbour Side is a house built around the early 19th century and remodeled in the late 20th century. It features painted and rendered stone rubble with an asbestos slate roof and gable ends. The front elevation facing the harbour has gabled dormers. The left-hand gable end has a chimney stack with a cloam oven projection. The building has a single depth, two-room plan and is built into the side of a hill, resulting in a single-storey elevation at the rear and two storeys at the front. The ground floor has two 20th-century, two-light casement windows with glazing bars in a single opening. The first floor contains two 20th-century casement windows in the gabled dormers. The entrance is located in the left-hand gable end, which is single storey as the ground rises to the rear. The openings at the rear have been altered. The building is included for group value as its front elevation is an integral part of the south side of the harbour.
