Description

LANSALLOS QUAY ROAD, (south side), Polperro SX 2050-2150 6/81 Toms 21.8.64 GV II

House. Circa late C18. Painted stone rubble with slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble chimney stack with brick shaft on left-hand gable end. Single depth plan of 1 room with entrance hall to right. Built into side of hill with ground rising to rear. Raised above pavement level with stone rubble steps leading up to entrance, to adjoining property (qv The Smugglers House) and up hill to rear. 2 storeys, regular 2-window front. Ground floor with C20 2-light casement with glazing bars and C20 part glazed stable door to right. Above two C20 2-light casements above ground floor openings. Left-hand corner splayed on ground floor. Interior not inspected.
