Description

No. 8 Church Lane is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, constructed of stone rubble with an asbestos slate roof featuring gable ends. It has a brick end stack on the left side. The building has a two-room double depth plan, with the entrance located on the right and the principal room situated at the front left, which is heated by the end stack. The exterior is two stories tall and has a regular two-window front. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century door and doorcase to the right, alongside a 16-pane sash window to the left. The first floor features a combination of 16-pane and 12-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
