Description
No. 14 Market Street is a shop premises dating from the early to mid-19th century. The front features render that has replaced stucco on studwork, with a quoin strip on the right side. The upper floors of the rear wing are finished with slate hanging. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall, with a two-window range. The original 12-pane hornless sash windows have had the glazing bars removed from the lower part of the first-floor sashes. The ground floor includes a moulded cornice above a 20th-century shop front, which has a short return on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
