Description

No. 19 High Street is a shop premises dating from the mid-19th century. The exterior features render that replaces stucco on studwork and an asbestos slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The original 12-pane sash windows are located above a pilastered shop front that includes a moulded entablature and fascia. The window has been simplified to four panes, and there is possibly an original door with margin panes on the right. A large and disfiguring dormer from the 1970s has been added. The interior has not been inspected.
