Description

This is a warehouse located on the quay at the rear of No. 38 Market Street in Falmouth. It dates from the early 19th century and is built on a 17th-century quay. The structure is made of killas rubble with granite quoins and features a grouted scantle slate roof that is hipped at the quay end. The quay side has vertically-set rubble, except for the granite ashlar at the corners. The building has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high. It has small, irregularly-disposed window openings that contain 20th-century two-light casements. The quay end features two loading doorways with 20th-century glazed doors. The interior has not been inspected.
