Description
No. 4 Bellair Road is a small house, probably from the 18th century. It is constructed of painted rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof with brick chimneys at the gable ends. The left-hand chimney is built over an 18th-century rubble chimney. The house has a plan consisting of two rooms with a lobby and likely a stair between them, along with small 19th-century extensions on the right side.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical narrow front with two windows facing southeast and a central doorway. The ground floor windows are late 19th-century 4-pane horned sashes, while the upper floor features early 19th-century 16-pane hornless sashes. There is a cobbled forecourt in front of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
