Description
The churchyard walls and gate piers were built in 1819 at a cost of £357-5s, which included turning the ground to a depth of 6 feet, as noted on the datestone located in the northeast corner. The walls are constructed of granite ashlar and feature square-edged copings. The walls enclose an irregularly shaped churchyard and include a gateway on the north side, as well as another gateway with a grid stile located to the southeast of the church, north of the lych gate. The north gateway likely retains its original iron gate, which has a ramped top rail.
