Description

67 Fore Street is a house built around 1830-1840, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from granite ashlar and rendered stone rubble, topped with a hipped slate roof that features ridge tiles. The building has a double depth plan, with one room at the front and the entrance located to the right. There is a wide entrance on the right side that leads to a passage going to the rear yard, and another room at the rear left.

The exterior is three storeys high and has a nearly symmetrical two-window front. All the windows are from the early 19th century. The ground floor is made of rusticated ashlar on a chamfered plinth, with a band course. It features a 16-pane sash window with Gothic margin glazing, voussoirs, and a keystone. To the right, there is a 20th-century half-glazed door, also with voussoirs and a keystone. There is an open doorway at the end and to the right, which also has voussoirs and keystones. The first floor has pilasters on either side and two similar 16-pane sashes with Gothic margin glazing, while the second floor has two similar sashes as well. The eaves are deep and bracketed, and the first and second floors are rendered. The interior has not been inspected.
