Description
12 and 14 Fore Street are two town houses that have been converted into a shop. They were built in the mid-19th century and feature stucco on studwork with a dry slate roof that has projecting eaves and a cast-iron ogee gutter. The buildings are three stories tall and have a three-window range. The late 19th-century four-pane sash windows are set within moulded architraves. The second floor has sill brackets and fluted end pilasters, while the first floor features segmental heads over ears, scrolled sill aprons, and rusticated quoins. The shop front was added in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
