Description

No. 16 Fore Street is a mid-19th century town house that now functions as a shop. The building features slate hanging on studwork and has a dry slate roof with projecting moulded eaves and a cast-iron ogee gutter. It has a deep plan and stands three storeys tall with a two-window range. The windows are late 19th century four-pane horned sashes set on moulded sills, and there are rendered end piers. The shop front was added in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
