Description

This is a town house, likely dating to the late 17th century, located on Fore Street in Liskeard. A plaque indicating 1829 and initials 'A.S.' suggests a later association. The front facade is finished with incised stucco on a timber studwork frame, and the roof is covered with asbestos slate. The house has a deep plan and is arranged over three storeys with a two-window front. It contains late 19th-century four-pane sash windows with horns, set within moulded architraves. A 20th-century shop front with projecting plate glass bays now occupies the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected.
