Description

CALSTOCK SX 46 NW 4/48 Limekiln at SX 444686 (formerly listed as old limekilns at Okeltor 23.1.68 II Limekiln. Early C19. Slatestone rubble. Plan: Rectangular plan limekiln, about 15 metres long, and built into the bank for top loading from the rear. On the bank of the River Tamar for water transport. Double well. The front has 2 round arches, with stone voussoirs and granite keystones. Granite string course over. Interior: Not accessible.
