Description
Nos. 59 and 61 Ashley Road is an attached house built around 1820. It is constructed of limestone ashlar with a brick stack, and the roof is not visible. The house is designed in the late Georgian style and features three storeys and a basement, with a two-window range. Architectural details include pilasters, a rusticated ground floor, a plat band, a modillion cornice, and a parapet. The doorways are located at the margins and are topped with open pediments on curved consoles. The entrances have semicircular arches with plain fanlights and six-panel doors. The windows are plate-glass sashes with margin bars. The interior has not been inspected.
