Description

No. 57 Ashley Road is a house that is part of a terrace, built around 1820. It features a limestone ashlar exterior and has a double-depth plan in the mid-Georgian style. The building stands three storeys high with a basement and has a single-window range. Notable architectural details include pilasters, a rusticated ground floor, a plat band, a cornice, and a parapet. To the left, there is a Doric doorcase with an open pediment, an entablature, and attached columns, leading to a six-panel door. The ground-floor window is round-arched with rusticated voussoirs, and there are 20th-century windows present. The interior has not been inspected.
