Description

No. 41 Ashley Road is a house built around 1820, constructed from Bath stone ashlar. It features a double-depth plan and is designed in the late Georgian style. The building has three storeys and a basement, with a single-window range. There are steps leading up to the left-hand doorway, which is set within an arcade of three round arches. The facade includes a plat band, cornice, and parapet. The door has a fanlight above it, and there is a central 8/8 pane sash window, with a blind arch to the right and 6/6 pane sash windows above. Inside, the house has an open front room with a fireplace and shutters, as well as a central cross staircase. It is part of a terrace.
