Description
No. 37 Ashley Road is a house built around 1820, constructed from limestone ashlar and featuring a pantile mansard roof. It has a double-depth plan and is designed in the late Georgian style. The building stands three storeys tall with a basement and has a single-window range. The ground floor is rusticated, and there is a cornice and parapet above. The left-hand doorway is topped with a broken pediment supported by small consoles. The windows are 8/8-pane sash windows, and there is a first-floor French window that opens onto a small wrought-iron balcony. The interior has not been inspected. This house is part of a terrace.
