Description
Picton Lodge is a house, now divided into flats, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of stucco with limestone dressings, and the roof is not visible. The building has a double-depth plan and consists of two storeys with single-storey wings, featuring a symmetrical front that includes pilasters and a parapet. There are steps leading up to a semicircular-arched doorway, which has a fluted architrave, a fanlight, and a six-panel door. The façade has five windows, with full-height one-window bows on either side and one-window single-storey end blocks, all fitted with 8/8-pane sash windows. The coping is adorned with six gadrooned urns. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there are attached railings leading to the front steps and areas.
