GV II

Lock-up. 1828-32. Limestone ashlar, parapeted slate roof. Single-depth plan. Single storey and basement; one-window range. A symmetrical front with right-hand entrance block: a slightly projecting centre has a flat cornice band and raised parapet with right-of-centre 6/6-pane sash window; plain doorway with triangular lintel and early C20 post box. INTERIOR: ground floor and basement have paired barrel-vaulted cells, one with iron-studded door and manacle on the wall, C20 steps down.
