Description

Nos. 36 and 38 West End is a house from the mid-18th century, constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled stone slate roof. The building features ridge and end stacks made of brick. It has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a three-window range. To the left, there is a 20th-century door with a timber lintel, and above it, a bracketed flat hood covers a mid-19th century four-panelled door. The windows include mid-19th century two-pane sashes and a two-light casement with glazing bars at the top right, along with gabled roof dormers. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
