Description

No. 46 West End is a 17th-century house built from coursed limestone rubble, featuring a gabled stone slate roof and a stone end stack. The house has a one-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, displaying a two-window range. The front includes chamfered timber lintels above a plank door, a 19th-century window with glazing bars to the left, a late 19th-century two-pane sash window to the right, and a late 19th-century two-light casement window on the first floor. A gabled roof dormer with a two-light casement is also present. Inside, there is a chamfered beam and an open fireplace with a wooden bressumer. The roof structure consists of a two-bay collar-truss with butt purlins.
