Description

This is a house located at 45 West End, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a roughcast front and features a gabled roof made of artificial stone slate. A 20th-century brick stack is located at the right end. The house has a two-unit through-passage plan and stands two storeys high with an attic.

The front has a range of windows, including a late 19th-century half-glazed door that is flanked by cement with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are late 17th-century wood-mullioned and transomed windows that have 19th-century lights. A gabled roof dormer is also present. The interior and rear of the house have not been inspected, but they are likely to be of interest, as it has been noted that there are cased beams.
