Description

47 and 47B West End are two houses built around 1820-1830. They are made of squared and coursed limestone with a gabled Welsh slate roof and brick ridge and stacks. The buildings have a three-init plan and are two storeys high, featuring a three-window range. On the right side, there is a carriage-entry with plank double doors that have a timber lintel above. To the left, there is an early 19th-century six-panelled door with an overlight, which is set in a moulded wood architrave with pilasters. The windows are 8-pane sashes, each with timber lintels above. The interior and rear of the buildings have not been inspected.
