Description

This is a house located at 58 West End, built in the mid-18th century, with a front added in the late 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring a stucco front, and has a gabled stone slate roof with end stacks made of stone finished in brick. It has a two-unit plan and consists of two storeys and an attic, with a four-window range. The windows have keyed segmental-headed architraves, including a half-glazed door, tripartite sashes, and three-pane sashes. There are gabled roof dormers as well. At the back, there is an 18th-century wing with 19th-century stucco walls and a gabled stone slate roof that has a brick ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
