Description

Nos. 16 and 18 Dean Street is a house with a shop, built in 1789, with a late 19th century to early 20th century shop inserted. The building is constructed of English bond brick with ashlar dressings and has a graduated slate roof. It stands four storeys high with attics and features two bays. There is a six-panelled house door on the left and a shop door on the right. The upper floors have plain sash windows with wedge stone lintels and projecting stone sills on the second and third floors, along with a sill band on the first floor. The roof includes two elliptical-headed dormers and one ridge chimney.
