Description

The structure consists of dwarf walls, gates, and railings located west of No. 43 on Side in Newcastle upon Tyne. Designed in 1933 by the architectural firm Cackett, Dick and McKellar for the County of Northumberland, it features sandstone ashlar and wrought iron materials. The dwarf walls have slightly chamfered coping and support high, square standards along with lower spear-headed standards. Additionally, groups of four principal supports with wide square tops are present, which also support high gates designed in a similar style.
